Our History
Bermuda Dunes Country Club hosted the Bob Hope Classic PGA Tournament for over 50 years, one of the first golf real estate developments in the Coachella Valley, site of Arnold Palmer’s first Classic Victory in 1960 and site of his last PGA victory in 1973, where Hollywood’s elite like Gable, Grant, Holden, Fisher, Reynolds, were among its first property owners, and its classic golf course is extolled by the likes of Phil, Freddie and Davis.
The course was designed by Billy Bell (he also designed Bel-Air CC, Hacienda CC, La Jolla CC, Newport Beach CC, San Diego CC, Tamarisk CC, Tucson CC, and Woodland Hills CC). All three nines are par 36 and begin and end right at the clubhouse which makes it easy to play 18 holes. Yardage for men ranges from 6,065 to 7,017, and for women it ranges from 5,302 to 6,149.
